Programme Manager
Core Responsibilities
- Support and liaise with civil society members and activist filmmakers on film and impact projects
- Manage the development, promotion and execution of training workshops, screenings and film projects
- Organise FreedomFilmFest’s events
- Work closely with our project partner, an international cultural institute based in Kuala Lumpur
Skills and experience/ Ideal qualifications
- Passion for social justice and human rights
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Capacity in engagement and outreach
- Background in film, media studies, pr, advertising and marketing
- Involvement in arts and activism
- Proficient writing skills in English and BM
- Ability to manage project finances
- Experience in campaigning and strategic planning would be ideal
Salary and Contract
- Full time starting from January 2024
- Salary starting at minimum RM6,000
- FFN is looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience in project management

Content Producer
Core Responsibilities
- Creating content for FFN’s social media platforms
- Documenting FFN’s activities for promotion on social media
Skills & Experience / Ideal Qualifications
- Passion for social justice and human rights
- Ability to independently produce (shoot, write and edit) short and simple video content for social media
- Understand different social media platforms and how best to utilise them
- Excellent written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Portfolio of content that demonstrates skills
- Two to three years experience managing social media and an understanding of how to compile social media analytics
- A network among local and regional CSOs, NGOs, arts & culture organisations, and youth organisations is a plus
Salary and Contract
- Full time starting from January 2024
- Salary starting at minimum RM4,000
- FFN is looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in content creation
