Film Synopsis:

Sittwe is a short documentary about two teenagers affected by conflict in Burma’s Rakhine state; a Buddhist boy and a Muslim girl who were displaced by communal violence in 2012. Interviews filmed over two years explore their ideas about education and the possibility of reconciliation. The film is intended as an offering for peace building.
